Determination of contact parameter interactions of rough friction surfaces in mechanical components of cryogenic systems

Abstract
A method of statistically calculating contact interaction parameters of rough friction surfaces is presented. Within the limits of each contact area these surfaces are approximated as ellipsoids, main curvature radii of the latter being determined by simulation data of two dimensional anisotropic stochastic fields. The calculated results of the parametric research for a plate bearing are produced.
