Abstract
A method and automatic instrument to measure heat and humidity characteristics of moisture-containing materials during their freezing and thawing have been considered. Relationships for the calculation of thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, heat capacity and enthalpy of samples are given, data on measuring thermal physical characteristics of distilled water, sand, plum and sugar solution being presented.
