Effective heat conductivity of frozen disperse materials in vacuum dehydration processes *

Semenov G. V., Bulkin M.S.

Abstract
An originally designed device is offered for measuring effective heat conduction in disperse materials. Its specific feature is that its measuring cell reproduces conditions as close as possible to the situation emerging in the process of vacuum freeze-drying. Experimental numerical values may be used in engineering calculations.

Keywords: freeze-drying, effective heat conductivity of polydisperse materials, heat and mass transfer in vacuum.
