Abstract
The technique discussed was developed on the basis of thermoeconomic analysis. It is instrumental in choosing an optimal operating mode for a refrigerating unit with the accumulator of natural cold used to overcool a liquid refrigerant before the thermostatic expansion valve. The functional hydraulic circuit of a refrigerating unit with the accumulator of natural cold is shown, and a thermoeconomic model of such unit is demonstrated. The systems of equations are presented whose solving would help to identify temperature values for an optimal operation mode of such refrigerating unit.
