Selection of capillary tubes for reversible refrigerating machines

Koshelev V. L.

Abstract
Is noticed in this article, that thermal contact of a capillary tube with suction piping is undesirable in reversible refrigerating machines. The length of a capillary tube in cycle of thermal pump should be more than in refrigeration cycle. For preservation of high power efficiency of the refrigerating machine in both modes consistently with the basic capillary tube, an additional tube and in parallel to it a check-valve are installed. The procedure for length definition of additional capillary tube is described. We offer to divide basic capillary tube into 2-3 segments and to install 1-2 solenoid valves on the bypass piping. It allows to recompense flow reduction of throttling refrigerant, when temperature of condensation decreased.

Keywords: reversible refrigerating machine, capillary tube, power efficiency
