Rating of air supply to ice accumulators to accelerate its melting

Abstract
Using ice accumulators in enterprises of food industry involves the necessity to provide maximum rate of ice melting. One way to speed up ice melting is to feed compressed air into water of the accumulator, e.g. from an air compressor. The present paper produces a method to calculate volumetric capacity of the air compressor that will guarantee a predetermined rate of ice melting.
