Abstract
Assessed is the effect provided by the mobility of slit walls on working medium leakages in the workspace of a single-rotor screw compressor with rectangular-shaped tooth. Clearances in the SRSC workspace have been classified. Basic equations have been formulated to describe the above-mentioned phenomena.
