Abstract
Engineering technique to accurately calculate pressure drop in a rotating cold heat exchanger is proposed. Friction drag in the nozzle is measured with the starting hydrodynamic section being taken into account. Calculated data are experimentally verified. The proposed procedure can be used for designing rotary heat exchangers.
