Abstract
Design specifications of a vortex tube and rational modes of its operation have been identified to utilize the cold-generating potential of liquid nitrogen and gaseous product of its vaporization. This vortex tube has been used in the design of a tunnel fast-freezing unit and its nitrogen-based cold supply system.
