Abstract
The article deals with energy efficient operating modes for a central air conditioning system and a heating system. The systems are considered as a part of an integral room with a single-type load. The time of heat consumption mode is shown to be influenced by the climate, heat-moisture and gas load in the room. The influence of these factors on the practicability of heating system use is analyzed. The operating mode is shown to be a connecting link between central air conditioning system and heating system. An interrelation between operating modes of central air conditioning system and heating system, in its turn, can be found only by the reference thermodynamic scheme. The interrelation in question is analyzed. Depending on the type of the air conditioning system (convective or radiant one) the control of operating modes for central air conditioning and heating systemsis shown to be carried out differently.

Keywords: air conditioning system, heating system, operating modes, energy efficiency, integral room, single-type load.
