Abstract
The article describes a statistical research on the designing a model for diagnosing SKAB-7.5 automatic compressor plant. The coefficients of Fourier series have been decided to be used as diagnosing parameters. Those coefficients have been obtained by decomposition of actual indicator diagrams for the stages of SKAB-7.5 five-stage reciprocating air compressor in Fourier series. Modeling the faults at the experimental stand has been made on the basis of statistical analysis of the reciprocating compressors’ faults which were detected aboard fishing fleet and Navy ships. On the basis of the research indicator diagrams for any stage of reciprocating air compressor at general faults have been obtained.
