Abstract
The process of capacity control for screw compressors requires the use of efficient and reliable control systems. Experience has shown built-in capacity regulators to be the optimal technical solution in this direction. However, in a number of cases, the design of such regulators requires structural changes in the compressor with the formation of additional cavities in the casing, the presence of moving elements, complex drive systems, etc. This adversely affects the simplicity and reliability of the regulator, as well as may be the cause of increased leakage of the working substance. Thus, the development of a simple and effective design for a built-in capacity regulator is relevant.
