Abstract
International Academy of Refrigeration is an organization uniting the world’s leading scientists and experts engaged in the development of priority science and technology areas of refrigeration, low-grade energy, biotechnology and other important aspects of human activities. Identification and analysis of the trends of scientific progress in these areas constitute the mission of the Academy. This publication is dedicated to one of such trends, specifically to heat exchange units playing a crucial role in solving the problems of power and resource efficiency of refrigerating equipment.
