Abstract
A new method has been developed to increase the initial temperature of canned products. Fruits (vegetables) packed in jars are treated before filling with heated air fed into a jar every 15–20 seconds alternately through one half of its mouth’s area and removed through the other half. For practical application of the developed technique, a device has been designed to heat fruits and vegetables in jars.
